FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1.  When do I bring my items to etc. Consignment Shoppe?

Monday – Thursday between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00pm.

2.  Why do I need to bring my items in on hangers when you rehang them anyway?

When items are brought in on hangers it makes them easier to go through and keeps  them less wrinkled and remember how they are presented to us makes a difference in whether or not we take them.

3.  When do I get paid for my items I have brought in?

We pay cash during business hours and you receive your money as soon as the item sells.

4.  What happens to an item if it doesn’t sell?

You have two options.  You may pick up what has not sold by your pick up date.  If you don't return by that date to pick them up they will be donated.  Or if you don't want to pick up unsold items then they will automatically be donated to local charity.

5.  Do I have to price my own items?

No, we price them for you. Our knowledge of pricing items comes from our experience.  etc. benefits just as the consignor does by pricing an item to sell.  Generally an item sells for 30% of what it sells for at retail, sometimes more and sometimes less depending on the condition and age of an item.

6.  Can I drop them off and come back later to pick up what you don’t accept?

No, we ask that you stay in the store while we are going through your items.  We want to be able to send back with you immediately, the items we can not accept.  We try very hard to make sure that your wait time is kept to a minimum but during our busy consignment times you can expect a wait and need to plan your time accordingly.  You can always call ahead to see if we have a wait.  Keep in mind that can change very quickly depending on how many people come in the door at one time.
